Costa Blanca expat couple bring entertainment to U3A group in Jalon Valley during Coronavirus crisis.

PETE and Jo are highly active members of Jalon Valley Help and the Vall del Pop U3A, where they are part of The Entertainers.

During the lockdown, their unselfish efforts have entertained friends in the UK and Spain, with their costumed rendition of popular songs. Now, 40 days in, their audience look forward to their performance – and they never fail, be it pirates, clowns or Worzel Gummidge, they always raise a smile and a laugh.

Their performances were even acknowledged on local radio, ‘Hero of the Day’ on Pure Gold FM.

For those of you who have missed their performances you can see them all on their Facebook at ‘Clearys en Espana’ or on YouTube at ‘Crazy Clearys.’

The U3A is all about enjoyment, and this is particularly evident in the U3A Vall del Pop, with a diverse range of more than 30 groups for the interest of the members.
