Piers Morgan blasted Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus crisis on Good Morning Britain today.

The host said the US President has ‘shown a complete inability to pivot to anything like the kind of leadership you need in a crisis.’

Referring to Trump’s controversial comments at a press conference last week, in which he proposed injecting disinfectant or shining UV light ‘under the skin,’ Piers said this is not what the country needs.

Instead, he said the US needs ‘calm, authoritative, leadership giving accurate information’ along with empathy.

He slammed the president for antagonizing democrats, picking fights with the media, and a series of “ludicrous, crazy theories” which he later claimed were a joke.
