Just half of Alicante Province on Spain's Costa Blanca move on to Phase 1 of Spain's de-escalation on Monday

Breaking News In Spain

Spain’s Health Minister, Salvador Illa, has announced that only half of the Alicante Province on the Costa Blanca can move on to Phase 1 as of Monday.

Specifically, these include Alcoy, Elda, Denia, Marina Baixa, Orihuela and Torrevieja.
Alicante, Elche and Elche-Crevillent are still in Phase zero.
The two most populated areas of the province have failed to meet the Ministry’s criteria in terms of bed availability and number of Covid-19 cases.
