THE Alfaz-based association, El Jardin de Esther (Esther’s Garden), recently organised a free, online Mindfulness workshop.
Directed at care for those who do the caring, the workshop given by Daniel Mendialdua, a Sociology graduate and Mindfulness instructor, was followed by 30 health professionals from different parts of Spain.
The workshop had achieved its important object of helping those who are doing most to halt the spread of Covid-19, Mendialdu said.
It offered them a place “of deep repose” after the emotional tension they are subjected to and provided them with the means of surviving their daily routine, Mendialdua declared.
Alfaz’s Health councillor Maria Cortes also said it was gratifying to know that an Alfaz association was doing so much to contribute to assisting those who look after others.
