British Plastics Federation Warns that Acrylic for Shop Screens is in Short Supply

EVEN though there are some industries that have benefitted from the Covid-19 pandemic such as suppliers of plastic sheets for safety screens, even they are suffering.

According to the British Plastics Federation, some firms aren’t likely to be able to supply the necessary acrylics until the end of July and as more shops and offices open, so the demand just keeps increasing.

As organisations like Uber and mini cab firms are now trialling the addition of screens in their cars, the supply situation can only get worse.
