Hotels in Mexico’s Cancun Are Offering Free Stays in Order To Re-Activate It’s Tourist Economy Post-Pandemic

Hoteliers in Mexico’s Cancun are working towards an array of different marketing techniques to lure in tourists and re-activate its hospitality economy, one of these methods is by offering free stay in their hotels.

THE hotel industry in Quinatana Roo is suffering as a result of the coronavirus crisis and in order to make up for lost time, given that the tourism sector is an important economic contributor in the area, they are trying to entice customers to return as soon as there is a return to normality.

According to the Association of Hotels in Cancun, Puerto Morelos and Isla Mujeres, one of the many measures they will adopt is the ‘Come to Cancun 2×1’ offer. This offer allows the customer to gain a free night in the hotel if they pay for two. Likewise, the payment for your plane ticket will also be discounted as long as you travel with the company.

They have also planned to hold various social media contests, through which they will offer lifetime travel certificates to Cancun.

The objective of all of these new initiatives is to encourage travel and increase the confidence of foreign tourists in Mexico.
