CIGARETT ENDS: Campello beachgoers asked to take them homes, credit: Campello town hall
CAMPELLO beaches are now open for swimming and sunbathing although some restrictions remain. Foot showers and walkways are still vetoed, as are the installations in the children’s play areas and adults’ exercise equipment. Beaches councillor Julio Oca made a special appeal to smokers using Campello’s beaches, asking them not stub out cigarette ends in the sand but to bring their own container for them. Oca also called on all members of the public using the beaches to maintain the required distance from others to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and to limit groups to the permitted numbers.
