BOOKING sites are full of great bargains at the moment for holidays all over Europe but even more especially for Spain and Portugal, as these two countries, in particular, seem to have the coronavirus better under control.
Tourism experts, however, are warning Brits to be cautious in that the trips may not end up going ahead as not every region in each country will be out of the last phase of its lockdown. For example, TUI, Britain’s biggest tour operator, is cutting three nights all-inclusive at the TUI SUNEO Odessos in Bulgaria on July 10 from £543 per person to £296. And a seven-night trip to Gran Canaria on July 6 has been slashed from £606 to £394.
The Costa del Sol, always a firm favourite with tourists, is gearing up for what it hopes will be a busy season and Portugal is offering free Covid-19 tests for arrivals in Madeira and Porto Santo.
