TWO Guardia Civil officers and a third individual are currently under investigation for allegedly drugging and abusing a young woman from Spain’s Mallorca.
According to the woman’s report, the three men drugged her, whilst she was at a bar in the La Latina neighbourhood in Madrid and then proceeded to sexually abuse her.
More specifically, two of the men under investigation are Guardia Civil officers, one is stationed in Inca (the Balearic Islands) and the other in Ferrol (A Coruña).
The victim is a 27-year-old Mallorcan who was in Madrid for the weekend.
According to the victim, she was in a bar with her friend when three men appeared and offered to buy her a drink, which she agreed to.
After this drink, the woman recalls having unclear memories or what happened, therefore she deduces that they intoxicated her with some sort of chemical substance and took advantage of her altered state.
Next morning, she dizzily arrived at her friend’s house with torn stockings and severe vaginal pain. She immediately went to purchase the morning after pill after fearing she had been subjected to sexual relations without her consent.
She only reported the events five days after, as she explains she was paralysed by the fear of what had happened to her.
All three of the men accused denied having drugged her and affirm that the relationship was completely consensual.
