ACCORDING to police sources, Khairi Saadallah was found wandering the streets by his mental health team after he missed a routine check and ‘they walked him back to his flat’ hours before he ‘killed three people.’
Mr Saadallah was detained by police in Forbury Gardens last Saturday evening. Witnesses present at the scene claimed he approached a group of middle-aged men who had been sat drinking in the park and suddenly began stabbing at them. Three men died in the attack and one other remains in hospital in a stable condition, one more person was later discharged also.
As reported earlier by the EWN, homophobia is being considered as a motive for the attack as the three victims were reportedly all gay men.
The investigation into the attack is ongoing, police broke into the suspect’s flat shortly after the attack last Saturday and recovered ‘items of interest’ which may be invaluable in solving the case. More information on this story when available.
