Huge Mural Depicting Transgender Woman Joins Outdoor Museum in Spain’s Costa del Sol

AS Estepona becomes known worldwide for the quality and number of outdoor murals painted on buildings around the municipality, it has taken the opportunity to champion a number of different social causes.

Its latest addition to what is considers an outdoor museum and gallery is a work by Malaga artist Curro Leyton on one of the facades of the municipal La Lobilla sports hall which features a transgender woman represented in vivid colours.

The work is still in progress and is the fourth mural that this artist has produced in the town and when finished will increase the total collection to 61.
