Almuñecar's famous tourist train takes to the streets again this weekend in Spain's Axarquia

THIS Friday the tourist train “Trópico Express” of Almuñécar will start running after several months stopped by the state of alarm caused by the Coronavirus.

The Trópico Express, led by Fernando Matías, plans to start at 7pm from Chinasol to tour the promenades of San Cristóbal, Calle Guadix, Avenida Costa del Sol, Carrera de la Concepción and reach Avenida Rey Juan Carlos I until it goes down to Paseo Puerta del Mar and advances along the Paseo Reina Sofía.
The tourist train is an element of fun in the landscape of the town that runs along its promenades and the central avenues, transporting dozens of people every afternoon-night for several decades. This Friday the sound of its bells will be heard again, from 7pm until around midnight, along with the reopening of other new attractions.
