MESSI has a year left in his contract with the Spanish club, he could have left on June 10 for free according to a clause in his deal, which says he can leave every year on that date.
He is reported to have said that he is growing more and more frustrated at the seemingly constant blame game being levelled at him for things that have gone wrong after the giant club fell behind arch rivals Real Madrid in the title race.
Other issues that are frustrating him are said to be constant information leaks, and an apparent strange atmosphere in the dressing room.
Messi has apparently halted contract negotiations ahead of next summer and is most likely on his way out.
