A NEW date has been set for the Age Support Almanzora 20’s-style fundraiser.
The 1920s Casino Night to raise money to go towards helping the registered charity support the elderly in the area will now take place on Friday August 14, starting at 7pm.
The venue remains the same as that planned pre-lockdown for the original night at the end of March, Harley’s Bar in Albox, opposite the bowling alley. The organisers say it will be fully air-conditioned for the event.
Claire Stoner is the 1920’s vocalist with music provided by Contraband.
The event was a sell-out before it was postponed and the tickets are of course still valid.
The charity advises that groups of more than four should reserve a table via Ellen Green of Age Support on Facebook or Harleys.
“We have all been looking forward to this event and hope everyone will be in 1920’s dress and have a great night,” the charity’s Liz Carey commented.
