Preparing meals for those in need Credit: Benahavis Council
THE company responsible for supplying water to residents in Benahavis, is working with the Red Cross to try to raise funds to allow the charity to continue to assist those in difficulty due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Aguas de Benahavis will donate €1 for each new customer who registers in the virtual customer area of its website (www.aguasdebenahavis.es) before the end of September 2020.
By registering in the customer area, the users of Aguas de Benahavis may manage and review their contracts, check their water consumption, download bills and generally oversee their accounts with the company.
Although this offer will not result in a large donation to the charity, every euro helps as Spain’s Red Cross has assisted more than 2.4 million vulnerable people in the country and mobilised more than 49,000 volunteers at its 1,400 special centres.
