Some of the disciplines taught Credit: Estepona Council
THE parents of youngsters aged from seven to 14 and who are resident in Estepona can receive a €20 discount on the weekly fee of €140 for a special camp following an agreement reached between the Estepona Council and Freedom Watersports.
The idea is to teach children how to enjoy the water safely whilst still having fun so they will not only learn different sports disciplines, but will also get to know the different types of wind, sea currents, as well as the fish and plants that live in the area.
Set in the in Playa de los Granados, a safe spot for children, the Water Activities Camp will run until September and those taking part will be organised into groups according to their age and will have the opportunity to enjoy surfing, paddle surfing, kayaking, beach games and yoga.
Those interested can register by emailing freedomwatersports@gmail.com or calling 644 500 046.
