Li-Meng Yan is a Chinese virologist who was in her country studying the coronavirus until she decided to flee to the United States, she assures that the Chinese authorities lie about the virus, which she concluded after researching via her own investigations.

THIS epidemiologist from the University of Public Health in Hong Kong held an exclusive interview with the news channel ‘Fox News’ in which she explained how she planned to run away in order to reveal the truth about the virus. She has strong revelations about the management of the pandemic by the country and how it originated.

Yan assures that the Chinese authorities knew the danger of the new coronavirus before making the Wuhan outbreak official. In this sense, the virologist also says that her superiors decided to silence and hide the data and results of her research around SARS-CoV-2, whose findings, she points out, could have helped save hundreds of lives. She fled to the US amid fears that staying in China could get her killed.

“The doctors were afraid to speak,” she said to Fox News. She herself was pressured to “stay quiet and be careful.” It was the trigger for her flight since she assures that she knows “how they hid it”, that is why they tried and try to keep her quiet.
