Axarquia to get very own air academy

Velez-Malaga Town Hall has presented the program ‘Charlas con empresas’, a forum for meetings with the business, training, and municipal administration sectors, which aims to promote local employability through the creation. The first to start the programme will be the company from the aeronautical sector ‘Aerodynamics Academy’, whose conference will take place at the Parque Tecnoalimentario on July 22 at 6pm. This is the just the beginning for this company that has chosen the capital of the region of Axarquía to build the first aeronautical campus in Europe, whose project includes the creation of a residence for about 150 people in addition to already having a real simulator of an Airbus A320 unique to Spain.
The Mayor of Velez-Malaga, Antonio Moreno Ferrer, announced the details of the launch for those interested in receiving training as a commercial or private pilot, flight attendant, aeronautical mechanic or drone pilot.
The day will not only be informative, but attendees will get a 50 per cent discount on the registration of the training courses given by ‘Axarquía Aviation Park’ and which will begin next September. In addition, Aerodynamics is going to raffle two places for the ‘Passenger Cabin Crew’ course at 50 per cent of its cost.
