Street-Art tribute for the island

THE famous Mallorcan Street Artist, Joan Aguiló is creating a 100m2 mural in Mercat de l’Olivar, as a tribute to the dedication of those working in the Primary Sector across the island as well as overseas.

He studied Illustration in Mallorca, Fine Arts in Barcelona, completed University in Mexico and first became interested in Street Art when he was living in Germany.
Joan links his work to the community and takes time to talk with local people before starting a project.
Mercat de l’Olivar released a statement saying, “The aim of the mural is to recognise the work of the Primary Sector and the people in Mallorca making it possible to consume local, quality products.”
Joan Aguiló will paint a tribute to Primary Sector workers.
