ALTEA’S Musica a Boqueta Nit (Music at Sundown) concerts have now finished. Despite the Covid-19 restrictions, the concerts held in the auditorium at the Plaça de l’Aigua were very well received, said Culture councillor Aurora Serrat. Summer evenings and the artists who performed each week from the end of July and throughout August had combined to ensure their success, she said, The councillor was also full of praise for the “great artistic quality” of the musicians taking part. “The artists performed with the express intention of pleasing the greatest number of people,” the councillor point out. As well as thanking and congratulating the performers, Serrat also thanked the residents and visitors who attended the concerts for respecting the health and safety procedures in such difficult circumstances. “We shall continue to offer Culture,” she declared.
