WITH a smaller number of stands and following the regulations and hygiene measures for the prevention of contagion, the Horizonte Proyecto Hombre Marbella will relaunch its Charity Bazaar next Sunday September 13.

It takes place at the Alameda de Marbella Park starting at 10am and will run into the late afternoon so everyone is invited to visit and help the Association to raise funds.

This charity fundraising activity, which had always been of great importance for the maintenance of the association’s Prevention and Treatment Programmes, is now of vital importance as, due to the outbreak of the pandemic and the state of alarm as the association had to cancel all its fundraising activities such as the Charity Bazaar, Solidarity Shop, and Gala Dinner.

As a consequence of the alarming fall in income, it had to apply partial and total ERTES to a large part of the professional staff which, to this day, is still in place. It was also forced to suspend part of its usual programmes and services.

At present, Horizonte is trying to resume its activities little by little, however, the lack of income from its own collection events, make the maintenance of some of its programmes and services in danger.

The Association exists to assist those with addictions and help both and their families to overcome social exclusion and return to a happier and safer way of life and is one of a number of very worthy Marbella based charities.
