The Lions share out in Alfaz MEMBERS of Alfaz’s Lions Club spent €500 on food supplies that it donated to the Social Welfare department’s Social Volunteers. The cash was used at a local supermarket to buy fresh food and hygiene products which the Social Volunteers will distribute to Alfaz families currently in a “complicated” situation. On behalf of the Volunteers Marisa Cortes and Martine Mertens, respective Social Welfare and Other Nationalities councillors, thanked the Lions president Ada Stoppelenburg for the group’s commitment towards the most vulnerable.
