THE Almuñecar Town Hall and the Almuñecar and La Herradura merchant’s associations intend to boost the sector this autumn with various initiatives including the raffle of a car among customers of local businesses.
“This proposal arises within the plan to dynamise and promote local commerce, through the €60,000 that we have made available to the municipality’s trade associations,” according to councillor Rafael Caballero. The raffle of a car will take place on December 22, in the Plaza de la Constitución. Customers will receive raffle tickets when they make purchases in the establishments, and later they will all be added together for the draw. “In Almuñécar there was already a precedent for a raffle of a car in the summer of 2013, which was very successful. For this reason, this idea has been revisited, since we believe that it is the best time to support our trade and for people to participate,” highlighted the councillors.
