Major mosquito control actions have taken place in Gran Alacant in order to get the situation under control. Did your municipality suffer from more mosquitoes this year?

RESIDENTS of Gran Alacant will be extremely happy as the Clot de Galvany nature reserve and many other areas received a mosquito control stray in order to control the major problem.
Gran Alacant has been overrun with mosquitoes this summer due to the lack of spraying because of Covid-19 restrictions.
However, this latest action will ease the worries of local residents who will now hopefully be able to enjoy the beauty of the nature reserve, and the local area, without fear of being bitten.

Oscar Valenzuela, Gran Alacant Councillor for Santa Pola Town Hall, released a brief statement about the major mosquito control actions in Gran Alacant “I want to thank the coordination between the councillor of Sanidad de Santa Pola and the City Council of Elche so [these] really […] effective actions [help] minimise the inconvenience [of our residents].
Major mosquito control actions have also taken place in Elche with the introduction of spray cannons, drones, quad bikes and electric motorcycles.
