Old gentleman fell onto motorway.
REPORTS were received this morning that an elderly gentleman had fallen from the level crossing of the A-7 at the height of Las Lagunas de Mijas.
According to Emergency Services, at 9.05 am, several calls were received from members of the public who had witnessed a man “voluntarily” jumping and falling onto the motorway below.
Witnesses rushed to the area to help until the security and health services arrived but no comment was made as to his condition. The gentleman was taken away by ambulance.
The incident caused traffic jams on the A-7 at the height of Las Lagunas towards Malaga, although some of this was due to “cars slowing down to look” towards Cadiz.
