THE Spanish Government has given 17,500 face masks to Benalmadena Council for distribution to public service workers and people at risk of social exclusion.
Of this, 4,150 masks will be distributed among essential public service workers, 10,850 given to students at risk of social exclusion as well as non-teaching personnel associated with educational centres, and 2,000 for users of Social Services.
“The distribution of the masks has begun, and will be carried out by Benalmadena Civil Protection volunteers, whom we thank once again for their generous involvement and constant commitment to public service to residents,” said Councillor for Security, Javier Marín.
