A traffic control dodger is under arrest for nearly running down a Guardia Civil officer.
Guardia indicated for him to pull over during a check on traffic on a road near Soller on Tuesday evening.
But instead he sped off, an officer having to jump out the way to avoid being hit. The 27-year old managed to get away, but the Guardia had the details of his vehicle.
That same evening he presented himself at the local Guardia station. He faces charges for attempting to assault an officer.
