Palace staff ‘ have been told to prepare for Prince Harry’s return to the UK within weeks and he could face a telling off from the Queen over his public comments about US politics.
It is understood that Frogmore Cottage is being prepared for the Prince’s return to the UK after his ‘stay in LA’ passes the 183 day US tax threshold. Sources say Prince Harry could face a scolding by the Queen amid concerns over his public comments about US politics.
It is thought that Palace staff have been told to ready Frogmore Cottage for the imminent return of the duke – without any mention of Meghan Markle. The Queen, who is 94-years-old, is likely to meet with Harry at her ‘HMS Bubble’ at Windsor after she returned in order to resume audiences and small engagements.
The Prince’s visit comes after royal experts were concerned that Harry had been ‘burnt significant bridges beyond repair’, especially after he spoke out about the upcoming American election. Prince Harry and Meghan, who have taken a hard-line approach with the tabloid news media, settled an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit against a large Hollywood paparazzi agency recently over unauthorized photos of their son, Archie.
