WATCH: Bear opens car door, climbs in and makes itself comfy

Incredible footage of a smart bear opening a car door, climbing inside and closing the door behind it has gone viral.

Bears are a common sight in parts of America and Canada, but a father and his daughter couldn’t believe their eyes when they spotted one making itself comfy in a parked car.

The footage was shot in South Lake Tahoe, Califonia, and shared on TikTok.

The father was driving through a residential area, while his daughter recorded on her mobile.

Suddenly, next to one of the houses, they see a huge broewn bear tanding on two legs next to a vehicle.

The dad honks his horn to try to scare the bear away, but to their amazement, it opens the door and appears to lock itself in.

The car owner comes out and the bear eventually gets out and runs off.
