The five British nationals arrested for shooting a man in the face in Marbella have been given bail at a court in Marbella.
The five British Nationals were arrested after a shooting in Marbella where a 50-year-old citizen of the same nationality was injured. They were all granted bail by a judge in the Court of Instruction number 4 in Marbella Spain.
The detainees all appeared in court on Friday, October 23, for a crime of attempted homicide. The judge heard they had been held since Tuesday, while the shooting took place on Saturday 18.
A court date is yet to be set and will mean the five will eventually have to appear again before the judge at some point. It is understood that the injured man is still in hospital receiving treatment but no updates on his health have been issued so far, however. He has not yet been named- the gunshot victim was a tourist and had been staying on a luxury residential estate in Estepona a 25-minute drive west of Marbella.
