FUNERALS are no easy task, which is why pre-planning and pre-paying for your own funeral is such a considerate gift to your family and loved ones. Have you got a song in mind for your final farewell?
There are numerous considerations to factor in, including logistics, food and drink, casket purchase, and burial grounds, however, in most people’s opinion your farewell song of choice is what stays with people for the rest of their life when they think of you.
It’s also something personal to you and I honestly think it’s the one thing no one else can decide for you.
For me it has to be ‘John Mayer – Stop this train’ but I have heard some weird and wonderful farewell songs over the years from traditional hymns to very un-conventional rave music, it’s your last chance to show a bit of yourself to your loved ones.
When planning your funeral with Golden Leaves why not start with your farewell song to get things going, it’s a fantastic start in opening up a little bit to your funeral plan designer giving them an idea of who you are as a person.
Here is a list of the ten most popular song choices in case you’re struggling for some inspiration.
Since 1984, Golden Leaves have helped tens of thousands of customers from both the UK and overseas to plan ahead and purchase a funeral plan. By erasing concerns about the arrangement and costs of your funeral, preplanning your funeral can deliver peace of mind for you and your family.
You really can’t put a price on peace of mind!
