Meghan Markle’s friend posts scathing comments

MEGHAN Markle’s friend Jessica Mulroney has posted a comment about “a*******” who turned their back after she became embroiled in a “white privilege” row.

The friends have been rumoured to have fallen out following the spat, but Mulroney has since claimed this is not the case.

The Canadian stylist shared an image on her Instagram saying she had been through a “rough few months”.

She said, “Thank you to our true friends for sticking by us. We could never have made it without you.

“Silver lining, we finally know the a******s who we thought were our friends. The best gift we could have ever been given.”

Last month in September,  she shared a statement on social media, which has since been deleted, calling Meghan “family” and “the kindest friend”.

The 40-year-old wrote, “I’m going to tell this once and for all. Meghan and I are family. She is the kindest friend and has checked up on me every day.

“Tabloid culture is atrocious. It creates lies and hurtful storyline. Stop feeding into it. Done.”

Meghan and Jessica became best friends after they met in Toronto when the royal was filming Suits.

Jessica’s children also took part in Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry, with her daughter Ivy being a bridesmaid and her twin sons John and Brian serving as page boys.

It had been claimed the friends fell out after Jessica was accused by influencer Sasha Exeter of abusing her white privilege.

Sasha said Jessica had taken “offence” to her call for bloggers and social media stars to speak out in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

She said, “Listen, I am by no means calling Jess a racist but what I will say is this, she is very well aware of her wealth, her perceived power and privilege because of the colour of her skin. And that, my friends, gave her the momentary confidence to come for my livelihood in writing.”
