MUM-of-two killed in hit-and-run

RHIANNON Hall, 21, was hit by a car in Cheam, Surrey on October 16 at 10:15pm. Rhiannon, on a ‘rare night out with friends,’ was rushed to St. George’s Hospital where she remained in critical condition for 6 days, before her partner and mother turned off her machines on October 22 at 11.11am.

Scotland Yard said the driver failed to stop at the scene but was arrested a short time later on suspicion of drink driving and was taken to a police station for questioning.

The mum-of-two leaves behind one-year-old Marlie and Nilah, who celebrated her third birthday just one day before her mother died, along with her loving partner Kahmarl.

The young mother’s friend Jackie Smithers said: “Rhiannon absolutely adored her family and was a wonderful mother to her girls. This incident has turned Rhiannon’s family upside down – they are in a living nightmare.”

Detective Constable Jenny Burr, from the Metropolitan Police’s serious collision investigation unit, said: ‘Our thoughts are first and foremost with Rhiannon’s family and friends at this truly tragic time.

‘We are committed to establishing the circumstances of the collision and are still asking for witnesses and dash cam footage.”
