Adapting town seating

Adapting town seating Credit: Llucmajor Council

AWARE of the need for comfortable public seating for the elderly and disabled, the Llucmajor Council is reviewing how adequate existing benches and seats throughout the town are and will be prepared to take action to adapt them without replacing them completely.
As part of an ongoing plan to ensure accessibility for all, the Council is also sending out a team of garden workers to ensure that no public communal spaces are overgrown or constitute a hurdle for those with reduced mobility.
The work is necessary now due to possible strong winds and storms which may occur later in the year.
