Spanish professional cyclist, José Joaquin Rojas, has shared a horrifying snap of his legs after a gruelling stage of La Vuelta a España.
THE Tour of Spain now has eight stages and the last one, the arrival at Alto de Moncalvillo, was more demanding than the cyclists thought, with the winner Primoz Roglic saying: “The final climb was harder than I expected”.
Each stage requires the riders to give their best and José Joaquin Rojas showed the consequences of each stage.
He shared the photograph of his legs after the seventh stage on the way to Villanueva de Valdegovía in which all the veins are swollen and clearly visible.
“Ready for stage 8 of La Vuelta. After almost 4 hours at 350 watts of power it seems that the legs hurt”, the Movistar team cyclist wrote.
He now has to get back on his bike the ninth stage, finishing in Aguilar de Campoo.
