Thug punches policewoman in the face

THUG punches policewoman in the face in violent clash in London

Video footage shows a thug shouting “you’re a disgrace” at a policewoman before punching her in the face and attempting to throw her to the ground. It is not clear when the altercation took place and the Metropolitan Police have not issued a statement.

A large crowd can be seen having a heated row with several police officers and security guards on the street, before the man in question steps forward and yells “you’re a disgrace” at the policewoman. She appears to be reaching for her handcuffs when the man swings a right-handed punch at her face.

The footage, recorded by witnesses at the scene, shows the man then pushing the policewoman away, before several more officers rush in, in an attempt to subdue the man.

The man tells the female officer to “shut up” before escaping down the street.

It is not known if the man has been identified by police or if an arrest was made following the incident
