Caring at Christmas in Fuengirola

Caring at Christmas in Fuengirola is a campaign thought of by the most heart-warming father-daughter duo.

Lauren Adamson has worked with her father, Gary Adamson to make Christmas happen for those in need. The Christmas dinners will be made in Sams Bar, Los Boliches where people will come and pick up their dinners or have them delivered by a caring Danish lady called Isabell Mørup who lost her grandma two months ago and decided she needed to give her life meaning again.

The thoughtful campaign is aimed at people who have been financially affected by COVID-19 and who don’t have the finances to be able to enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner. The campaign has only been launched for three days and has already had major interactions and donations. Gary and Lauren have set up a Go Fund Me page to raise money for the meals to be able to cater for over 200 people, along with being able to buy some of the attending children gifts.

Many people have already reached out, British, Danish, German, people from all over the world offering to help the cause. Many local businesses have been in touch, Uppercrust have donated gravy granules and cranberry sauce and other business have donated potatoes and money.

Gary and Lauren cover the Fuengirola area along with Mijas, but are asking people from all over the coast to help with the cause. COVID-19 has affected so many people, not only financially but mentally and hearing of genuine and caring people like Gary and Lauren who just want to make other people’s Christmas as special as they should be is amazing.

Gary Adamson has always been a keen supporter of charities and in the past has raised over 3000 euros for Cudeca by playing in a 24-hour pool competition. He has always been a keen believer in giving back to the people in need.

The Christmas dinners are completely free for the people in need, and Gary and Lauren have made the steps extremely easy to receive a dinner. Gary and Lauren will be the two people to contact when asking for the dinners. Each person has their own story and they just want to help. All requests are confidential and accepted without judgement.

All Gary and Lauren ask is for people to spread the word, let everyone know, so no one is left out. The more the merrier.

Whether you want a dinner or you want to donate to the cause, contact Gary Adamson on whatsapp, 722507300 or email him at gary@bars-abroad.com. You can also contact Lauren, by sending her a message on Facebook, Lauren Nicole Adamson.
