Teenager stabbed to death during a fight in London

A teenager has been stabbed to death during a fight in West Kilburn, London, according to police reports.

The incident happened at around 10pm on Saturday, October 31, when a brawl broke out on Fernhead Road resulting in a 19-year-old man being stabbed to death.

According to early reports, the teenager died at the scene and following the horrific incident, a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been taken into custody.

A tweet by MP Karen Buck confirmed teenager stabbed to death during a fight in London: “It’s been a bad night tonight, locally. Despite all our other challenges we can’t lose sight of the need to rebuild both our Safer Neighbourhood police and the now almost non-existent prevention services to tackle serious youth violence. The alternative is worse.”

On Sunday, November 1 morning she added: “Tragically it has now been confirmed that, amongst other disturbances last night, a young man was killed in W9. Utterly devastating.”

This is just the latest example of the rise in knife crime in the city after a 14-year-old girl was arrested recently in connection to another stabbing.

We offer our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of the victim.
