Dynamo Kiev will take on Barcelona missing 9 players due to Covid-19

Dynamo Kiev will take on Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday, November 4, missing nine players due to Covid-19.

THREE players tested positive last week, while a further six were confirmed as having the virus following UEFA’s testing ahead of this week’s European games.

In a statement, the Ukrainian club said of the most recent round of tests: “Testing showed a positive result in several players of the team: Georgy Tsitaishvili, Denis Garmash, Mikkel Duelund, Alexander Karavaev, Tudor Belutse and Mykola Shaparenko.

“In addition, the tests of assistant head coach Emil Karas and four representatives of the team’s staff gave a positive result. All Dynamo patients with coronavirus are self-isolated and feel satisfactory.”

These include goalkeepers Heorhiy Buschan and Denys Boyko along with Vitaliy Mykolenkowho returned positive results last week.
