Mum hid cocaine in children’s Kinder Eggs

Mum who hid cocaine in children’s Kinder Eggs has been jailed

POLICE raided the home of Vicki Holland, 36, and her 42-year-old partner Russel Cox in December last year. In the house in Newport, South Wales, officers discovered £1600 of cocaine hidden in plastic capsules inside Kinder Eggs.

The mum-of-four admitted possession with intent to supply a class-A drug – some of the cocaine found in her home was already prepared for sale in £20 and £30 packages.

Roger Griffiths, prosecuting, said: “Evidence on the phones demonstrated both were involved in supply of cocaine.”

Holland’s partner Russel Cox was also charged with intent to supply.

Benjamin Waters, defending Cox, said his client had built up a debt while trying to fund his own drug addiction, the Argus reported.

Cox, from Cwmbran, South Wales, has sought help for his addiction, been drug free since May and got a job as a delivery driver for a kebab shop, Mr Waters said.

Cox was jailed for 30 months and Holland was jailed for 20 months, suspended for two years.
