Watch! Angels will rescue Trump’s campaign, says spiritual advisor

Donald Trump’s controversial spiritual advisor, televangelist Paula White-Cain, prayed for “angels” to help revive the Republican campaign, asking the powers that be to smite the “demonic confederacies that are attempting to steal the election from Trump.”

In a two-and-a-half-hour prayer service that was streamed live on Facebook, White-Cain said: “I hear a sound of victory. The Lord says it is done. The angels are coming here in the name of Jesus from Africa.”

Bemused social media users reacted with disbelief, with one Facebook user saying:

“I don’t know a whole lot about spiritual advisors but Paula White might need to switch to decaf.”

Trump first met the advisor during his stint on The Apprentice, and just over a decade later, she was leading the United States in prayer when the billionaire was inaugurated as 45th president of the United States.

The spiritual advisor summed up her feeling by saying “Strike at those people who think they have outmanoeuvred you God,” before chanting “strike until you have victory” repeatedly.
