World’s most expensive gold and diamond-encrusted Covid mask worth a cool €1m

The world’s most expensive gold and diamond-encrusted mask has been unveiled, valued at more than €1 million.

Designed by an Israeli jeweller at the request of an American businessman, the work of art is made of 18-carat white gold and is decorated with 3,000 black and white diamonds.

Inside it has N99 filters, said to be the most effective in preventing the spread of the Covid-19.

The only downside could be the fact it weighs a quarter of a kilo, almost 100 times more than a conventional surgical mask.

The American reportedly wanted to “support Israeli industry during the coronavirus pandemic”, and selected an established firm to create his one of a kind facemask.
