Mum found three bags of urine in online food shop

A mum got far more than she ordered after she found three bags of urine in her online food shop

42-year-old Michelle Leonard got more than she bargained for when she unpacked her Ocado food shop which was delivered to her home in Islington, North London on November 12. Michelle’s son Alfie, 19 found three plastic bags of urine after the £57 shop was brought by a driver.

Speaking after the sickening find, Michelle told Sun Online: “I am absolutely disgusted, especially with Covid.

Michelle had ordered a variety of snacks for her upcoming birthday party, but said she had to dump the lot. She phoned Ocado the following day to complain, and they replaced her shopping and refunded her money.

The online supermarket delivery giant has apologised to Michelle and launched an investigation.

An Ocado spokesman said: “We would like to sincerely apologise to this customer.

“This situation is unacceptable and we are investigating it as a matter of urgency.”

But Michelle said: “I still don’t think that was good enough considering it’s Ocado, who deal with M&S.

“How do I know the driver, or anyone, could have had Covid.”
