Operation NAMASTÉ discovers seven new osteopath victims

THE investigation carried out by the Guardia Civil, within the framework of Operation NAMASTÉ, discovers seven new victims of the Las Merindades osteopath.

Officers uncovered a series of serious crimes after women reported intimate and inappropriate touching during massage sessions held at the Professional College of Physiotherapists of Castilla y León.

The seven new victims, who suffered the alleged sexual abuse carried out by the osteopath detained in Las Merindades (Burgos), takes the number of victims reportedly up to twelve, with two reporting more serious crimes.

Officers are encouraging more people to come forward if they were the victim of a crime.
