Heroic man stops woman's purse from being stolen in Alcantarilla

A HEROIC man stops a woman’s purse from being stolen in Alcantarilla after witnessing the theft from his balcony.

The man observed a teenager snatching the purse of a 59-year-old woman from his balcony and managed to make it down and onto the street in order to detain the alleged perpetrator until the arrival of the police officers of the National Corps Police Station Police (CNP) of that Murcian town.
The woman was knocked unconscious during the attack after being dragged across the ground before the heroic man was able to reach the 18-year-old attacker.
Speaking to officers on Sunday, November 22, the woman said she was able to recover her phone and her purse but some of her personal effects were missing after the attacker threw them away whilst being chased by the man from the balcony.
