Childminder Arrested for Beheading Young Boy in Russia

A CHILDMINDER was arrested in Russia for beheading a six-year-old boy, while his mother gave birth.

Elena, aged 36, left her son with Sergey Podgornov at her house in Engles, Russia as she left to give birth. Podgornov, aged 46, claims not to remember beheading the young child and was under the influence of alcohol drugs and the time of the killing. Podgornov is said to be facing a 15-year jail sentence for the horrific crime. Mikhail Grushin, 33, the young boy’s stepfather came home to find the body in the kitchen.

Crime scene footage shows Podgornov as he admitted to murdering the child, but he is unable to explain why the attack occurred. Podgornov, told the police “”I went out, sat on the porch and lit a cigarette,”

“Then I came back, drank another glass of alcohol and I finally realised what I had done.

“I went out to wait for the police.”

The boy’s sister confirmed that he was the fifth child in the family. Elena is still in hospital.
