EU nightmare as Italy faces ‘growing mass movement’ to LEAVE Brussels

EU nightmare as Italy faces ‘growing mass movement’ to LEAVE Brussels.

THE EU nightmare will continue after the UK leaves the bloc, according to a leading Brexit campaigner, who predicted that Italy will be ‘the next big one’ to ditch Brussels. Brexiteers have claimed that a mass movement against Brussels is rapidly growing across Italy. Brexit Party Chairman Richard Tice proclaimed that Italy will be “the next big one” to leave the EU. Mr Tice warned the EU that it had to change quickly or face a dramatic collapse.

Mr Tice said: “Italy is under serious economic pressure. I think they are next big one to leave. “They are the next one that is likely to have a growing campaign to leave. I don’t know how long it will take but with the pressure they are under economically, more and more people will want to leave. If you go to southern Italy, it is more like a second or third world country compared to much of Europe.”

A recent poll for Euronews showed that among voters in the EU’s Big Four of Italy, Germany, France and Spain, the Italians were the “most in favour of leaving the EU in five years’ time if Brexit is seen to be benefiting the UK”.
