Homeless Man Rescues Cats and Dogs from Animal Shelter Fire

HOMELESS MAN rescues cats and dogs from the W-Underdogs animal shelter, that was on fire in Atlanta.

Keith Walker, aged 53 is homeless, and overnight keeps Bravo, his pet pit bull at the W-Underdogs shelter. He was returning to the shelter on December 18 when he saw that it was on fire and his beloved Bravo was inside, along with other dogs and cats.

Although Keith was scared, he ran into the fire and not only managed to rescue Bravo, but also the 10 cats and the other five dogs that had been trapped inside the burning building.

Keith spoke to CNN and said “I was really scared to go in there with all that smoke. But God put me there to save those animals.

“If you love a dog, you can love anyone in the world. My dog is my best friend, and I wouldn’t be here without him, so I knew I had to save all those other dogs.”

W-Underdogs has now moved to a new home and continues to care for animals. They also help teach children to look after animals.
