Alice Evans launches GoFundMe campaign after bitter divorce costs her everything
The actress, who starred alongside Ioan Gruffudd in Disney’s 102 Dalmations, took to Twitter to claim Gruffudd told her he ‘no longer loves her’, and is leaving his family, “next week.”
In a since deleted post, Evans, 49, shared the “sad news” with her Twitter followers, saying, “our young daughters and I are very confused and sad.”
She wrote: “Sad news. My beloved husband/soulmate of 20 years, Ioan Gruffudd, has announced he is to leave his family, starting next week.
“Me and our young daughters girls are very confused and sad. We haven’t been given a reason except that he ‘no longer loves me’. I’m so sorry.”
The pair, who married in Mexico in 2007 after meeting on the set of 102 Dalmations in 2000, share two daughters, Ella, 11, and Elsie, 7.
They welcomed their first child following one round of IVF after Evans discovered she had a low antral follicle count. The pair’s second daughter arrived following eight rounds of IVF.
Ioan Gruffudd, 47, shot to fame in television series Hornblower and Great Expectations, before going on to Hollywood success, starring in Fantastic 4 and Black Hawk Down.
Meanwhile, Alice Evans has found success both on the small and big screen, starring in films including Blackball and television series Brothers & Sisters and The Vampire Diaries.
