FERAL cats continue to be a problem in many municipalities and Torremolinos has now approved a protocol to control feline colonies through the CER method (Catch, Sterilise and Return) and the Council will also check on the health of the cats regularly.
Road Safety
THOSE who are convicted of a motoring offence are often required to undertake special training so that they don’t reoffend and Manilva Council will be the host of a series of eight weeks of online workshops on road safety.
Caterpillar alert
MORE than 200 pine trees in Benahavis have been treated over a one month period in order to ensure that the processionary caterpillars which cause so much damage and injure animals will not be able to survive.
Voluntary curfew
MARBELLA Council has asked that residents recognise a voluntary extension to the nightly curfew and remain in their homes from 8pm. It also suggests that anyone travelling on public transport should refrain from talking to other passengers for safety’s sake.

Observing rules
LAST weekend, the Local Police in Benalmadena issued 153 tickets for failure to comply with mobility limitations due to perimeter closure. Some were for people from other municipalities entering Benalmadena and others were for residents trying to leave.
